The Tinker’s Creek Watershed Partners hosts day-long activities Saturday, October 13, 2007 in North Randall.

From 9 a.m. to noon, they invite others to help clean up the stream behind North Randall Village Hall, 21937 Miles Road. The event is part of a larger project to clean up important waterways in Cuyahoga County by removing debris.

A potluck lunch will be served at noon at the North Randall Community Garden on Emery Road across from Suburban Pavilion. Participants should bring a dish to share or chip in to buy pizza. A grill, beverages, paper plates and plastic ware will be provided.

From 2-4 p.m. the TCWP will explain how to “Put your Garden to Bed” by performing soil amendments, planting cover crops and garlic and preparing your garden for the winter. A potluck dinner will be served at 4 p.m.
