The program will be led by arborist Colby Sattler from Western Reserve Land Conservancy and Chad Clink from Holden Arboretum and help attendees learn about urban and community forestry. TCWP will also discuss how trees help protect the watershed and reduce stormwater runoff.
There will be a demonstration tree planting to help educate attendees on the proper method of planting for longevity and best functioning of the tree.
Streetsboro residents will be entered into a raffle to win one of three trees!
The program is free due to a generous grant from the Dominion Mini Watershed Grant.
