TCWP received a $5,000 Ohio Environmental Education Fund Mini-Grant from the Ohio EPA for our Know Your Watershed: Stormwater, Streams, and Stewardship project to develop a foldable map of the Tinker’s Creek and Brandywine Creek watersheds linked to an online learning portal. The map will feature local landmarks and watershed boundaries, and the portal will include videos, quizzes, stewardship tips, and information on environmental careers. Designed for schools, libraries, and community events, the project will help community members understand how daily actions affect water quality, encourage stewardship, and raise awareness of local environmental career opportunities.
While the grant covers the creation of the map and digital content, printed copies of the map will require additional sponsorship. TCWP is seeking support from local municipalities, organizations, and businesses interested in helping us share this educational resource with schools, libraries, and community groups throughout Northeast Ohio.
