Become a Sponsor for the 2022 Foraged and Invasives Dinner at Forest City Brewery!
For 15 years, Tinker’s Creek Watershed Partners (TCWP) has been committed to its mission of protecting and restoring water quality and habitats in the Tinker’s Creek and Brandywine Creek watersheds through community partnerships. The Foraged and Invasives Dinner is a TCWP showcase event that will attract food enthusiasts, environmentalists, and those that want to learn more about foraging and invasive species in our area.
The event will take place in the Waldorf Hall at Forest City Brewery in Cleveland, Ohio. Waldorf Hall is adjacent to Forest City Brewery’s tasting room and Ohio’s oldest beer garden. Anticipated event numbers are 60-80 people with food provided by Driftwood Catering. The event starts at 6:00 pm with passed hors d’oeuvres and live music. At 7:00 pm, interactive food stations will be arranged in the private event space.
All dishes include a selection of locally foraged and invasive species ingredients. TCWP staff will be on hand to talk more in-depth about locally foraged species, where to find them, their uses, and how to recognize them. Native plant seller, Plant It Native, will be onsite selling native plants to take home.
The event also includes a photo booth, and raffle. Off-street parking is included with the purchase of a ticket!
