On September 17, Tinker’s Creek Watershed Partners joined FirstEnergy’s Green Team at Glenwillow Village Hall for a community tree-planting project supporting local environmental stewardship.
FirstEnergy helped make the project possible by providing funding for trees and volunteers to assist with planting. Together, the team helped add trees to the community landscape, contributing to greener spaces and a healthier watershed.
Trees provide important environmental benefits, including shade, wildlife habitat, and stormwater management. Projects like this demonstrate how partnerships between businesses, communities, and local environmental organizations can make a positive difference for our watersheds.
Tinker’s Creek Watershed Partners thanks FirstEnergy and its Green Team volunteers for their support and hands-on commitment to protecting and improving our local environment.
