The Ohio Biological Survey is pleased to announce Dr. Jeff Reutter as this year’s Keynote Speaker!

Dr. Reutter is an aquatic biologist and limnologist, the author of over 150 technical reports and journal articles. He began working on Lake Erie at Stone Laboratory in 1971 and directed 4 programs at The Ohio State University from 1987-2015: F.T. Stone Laboratory, the Ohio Sea Grant College Program, the Center for Lake Erie Area Research, and the Great Lakes Aquatic Ecosystem Research Consortium, a consortium of top scientists at 12 Ohio colleges.

Keynote Address: Lake Erie and the Waters of Ohio:  Past, Present and Future

The conference will also feature a number of other talks that highlight aquatic systems and the unique or rare wildlife that serve as indicator species for water quality. We will also have the pleasure of hearing from the authors of the new book: A Naturalists Guide to Ohio Fishes.

Join us for a day filled with engaging talks, posters and stop by our vendors and visit the museum exhibits!
