Complying with Ohio EPA’s New Storm Water Permit for Construction Activities: What You Need to Know
September 18, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
On April 23, 2018, Ohio EPA renewed the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit for storm water discharges from construction activities where 1 or more acre is disturbed. This permit establishes minimum requirements for storm water control measures, including permanent (post-construction) control measures for the Water Quality Volume. This workshop will provide technical details regarding those changes and demonstrate the use of new design tools, including runoff reduction spreadsheets, to assist consulting engineers, storm water plan reviewers and regulated MS4s with complying with post-construction BMP requirements. Workshop attendance is free. Seating is limited so attendees must pre-register by September 14, 2018. Attendees will receive certificates of attendance indicating 5 hours of continuing education was provided but are responsible for submitting them to their respective accrediting organization.
Registration begins at 8:30 am and the day will conclude at 4:00 pm.
