Mike Cunnington serves as an External Affairs Representative for Dominion Energy. Prior to his time with the company, he worked in a variety of public policy roles at the local, state and federal government levels. In this capacity, he worked to help local governments understand and access funding to solve problems such as algal blooms in Ohio’s inland lakes, updating the hydrologic studies of local watersheds, and watershed-level planning for flooding prevention. He and his wife, Rebecca, live in Sagamore Hills, where they are avid hikers in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and regular kayakers throughout Northeast Ohio. He has a BA in International Relations from Ohio University, and is currently working on his Masters in Public Administration from Cleveland State University.
